My stay was regrettably too short; I truly wish I could have extended it. Port Elizabeth is vastly underrated, offering an abundance of activities. I yearned for a longer holiday, ideally spanning five days! The city is breathtaking, with its friendly people, pristine cleanliness, and refreshing ambiance.

Professional yet warm and friendly hosts that made us feel comfortable. The rooms are spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished and the facilities are exactly what we wanted. Much attention to safety and environmental aspects that provide a sense of security and serenity.
Highly recommended and I will definitely be back. Thank you Tommy and Leonie ❤️

Port Elizabeth is a beautiful coastal city with miles of beaches and is true to its nickname the Friendly City. The older parts in Central have stunning views and buildings but unfortunetaly the local government has allowed it to become neglected, uncared for and in some places dangerous. What a pity, as the old centre with its harbour views and gracious historical buildings should be the gem of the city.
That said, there are still other places worth a visit as property owners in the central area really make an effort to keep their properties well maintained and in the spirit of what it used to be.
There are many restaurants and my favourites are the local ones, each with their own vibe and unique menus. I just love Port Elizabeth.

Gqeberha to give its official name is a fairly relaxed place as largish cities go. It has great beaches though you need to be prepared for windy weather that can reduce the fun of being on a beach.
There is a lot of history, with interesting sites to visit. Also some great food options.
It is not the country’s top tourist hot spot but has plenty of attractions that are in any case better enjoyed without a massive crowd.
This was the best stay in Port Elizabeth - very beautiful small hotel, minutes away from the water. Everybody was so welcoming and they offered help for everything. Just an amazing staff in a perfect hotel. They made my stay so comfort
My room was bright and spacious, with a separated seating area and a modern bathroom with a rain shower and free standing tub.
And I must say… the attention to detail of the staff and their kindness were amazing. I didn’t want to leave and I would definitely come again!
Perhaps a bit far from the beach in Humewood (3.3 km), but close to the bus station and the center of Port Elizabeth. Moreover, in a quiet residential area next to historic Fort Frederick overlooking the harbour. Spacious hotel with verandas and common rooms where you can work or relax.
Good facilities such as the hot showers and WiFi. The kitchens are functional. The hotel is well secured. The place is kept clean. Friendly staff.
Great small hotel in Port Elizabeth; beautifully themed with one of the best bathrooms (amazing bathtub) + ridiculously comfortable bed. Food & service at the hotel was great, with friendly staff willing to cater to any dietary requirements.
The location is fantastic and close to absolutely everything in Port Elizabeth. The view is wonderful and the area as well as the apartment block is nice and quiet. Easy access to the property and good communication by the host.
The apartment is perfectly located with magnificent views right in front of the North End Lake. The self catering facilities are more than enough for a guaranteed comfortable stay. My only mistake was staying for a short time.
It is self catering. Beautiful clean and tranquil. It was great to just relax in the cool livingroom after a stressfull 400 km drive. They have everything you need for your stay. Thank you for a wonderfull overnight.
I like the location of the Hotel. I like the pool and breakfast set-up. I like the sea views and I like the Hotel in general which is within walking distance to most entertainment facilities on the beachfront.
It’s a Family run Business with very warm and lovely owners. It was a pleasure meeting them and staying at Nova Hotel. Everything is well taking care of and the breakfast is homemade and yummy.
Amazing garden Oasis in port Elizabeth. It had everything anyone could need. Our host Brian was amazing. Wonderful indian restaurant down the block. Secure parking. We truly enjoyed this place
The location was perfect, 1 minute drive from airport. The owner was very very nice. The place was simple and clean, perfect for family that want to make a stop at Port Elizabeth.
Needed a fridge in the bedroom. I was gone too early for breakfast, I should have in fact booked a self catering and not a bed and breakfast. Thank you to the guest house staff.
The room, view and breakfast were good.
Especially thanks for the receptionist who helped me to organize delivery of my forgotten sneakers from the hotel in Plattenberg Bay )
Everything excellent! Super close to the airport, clean and spacious enough. The host is very nice and friendly. I would def come back again when in port Elizabeth! Cheers!
This was an exceptional friendly run family hotel. In a beautiful, safe area of Port Elizabeth. Breakfast was excellent and the atmosphere as good as being at home.
